How to make your desires real in 2019

We crossed the mid of January mark, and hopefully by now you set the stage for the year ahead and you wrote down your desires.

Writing on a piece of paper what you want to accomplish is really really important.

Studies showed that the desires that you write down have better chances to become true than those who are only in our head.

Why is important to write down your desires?

Imagine that you want to go on a trip in the mountains but you have no idea where to go, how’s the weather, where you’ll sleep, which way to go…

In the end you’ll probably stay at home because is way more cozy and comfy.

When you write down a desire, you are clear about where your life, business, finances are heading. Yes, you’ll have some bumps on the road but you’ll know exactly why you need to find solutions for those bumps because you have that desire to go from point A to point B.

You will definitely make those desires real because you’ll pull those desires closer to you. 

The Power of habits

When we have a desire is really important to become the person that is receiving that desire.

We can NOT solve a problem from the same level of consciousness that it was created.

We need to change something.

We need to BE, DO, FEEL differently, in order to have different things in our life.

Otherwise we would have already that what we desire.

You can’t have the money, the beautiful relationship, the business that you love because you didn’t become that person yet.

  1. You need to be clear on what you desire
  2.  You need to write down down
  3. You need to become that person
  4. Take action!

HOW DO YOU BECOME THAT PERSON?

Through habits!

You see? I wrote down my desires for 2019 and even though I have big plans for this year, the old habits started to kick in.

A few days ago, I was very excited about my desires and yesterday, I started to do things in the old way.

Nothing changed because I didn’t change my habit. I was doing the same thing as in the past, expecting different results.

I’m sure you know what I’m talking about. You want to make more money in your business but you start your day scrolling Facebook news feed, or watching some youtube videos instead of spending that time to be creative in your business.

There is a saying: “What got you here, won’t get you further.” The truth is, you can’t grow financially if you stay the same.

In order for you to have more money, you need to…

Do something new.

1. What is a habit?

A habit is something that you do often or regularly.

A habit is an action which is considered bad that someone does repeatedly and finds it difficult to stop doing.

HABIT = REPETITION

Imagine yourself in the primary school. You started to learn the multiplication table. How did you learn it? By repetition.

You repeated it so many times that now if I had to ask how much is 3 times 4 you know the answer is 12.  You don’t have to repeat all over the multiplication table.

The same thing is with the your mind. you repeated so many times in your head negative or positive thoughts and now you believe them.

2. How were our habits installed?

We established that a habit is a repetition. In our first 7 years of life, we started to see our parents, grandparents, siblings, relatives, friends doing something, good or bad – it doesn’t matter.

A child’s mind is like a blank page. The brain being in Theta brainwave state is in the hypnosis state.  A child under age of 7 doesn’t have the logical part of brain developed and everything that the child sees, listens to, smells, feels, it will be programmed into the subconscious mind.

Later on, the child, will do things in his/her life based on that programming. So in order for you to have different results, you need to be, do, act differently.

3. How to install new habits.

  • First of all, identify what new habit you want to install. HINT: You can check out your desires list for 2019 and you can see who do you need to become in order for you to make those desires real in your life.
  • Second, identify what you need to let go of. What doesn’t serve you anymore? What is that old habit that needs to be replaced with a new one?
  • Thirdly, set trigger moments during the day, I would say 4/day, for 66 days straight. Set an alarm on your smartphone to announce you about your new habit. You can set them at 10 AM, 12 PM, 4 PM, 8 PM.

Let’s break it down with an example:

Let’s say you want to double your income this year. – this is the goal/desire

The new habit you want to instal, is to be more focused on money making activities.

Yet, you know from last year that you had the same desire but the social media feed sucked your time and energy, and you ended up with not so much money, frustrated, and disappointed. Sounds familiar?

One trigger alarm on your phone would be: DOES SOCIAL MEDIA BRINGS ME MONEY? (if the answer is No, then stop scrolling your news feed and start doing something that really brings you money) or HOW CAN I DO MORE OF WHAT I LOVE THAT BRINGS ME MONEY? (this is the positive side of looking at things)
